Some important facts about the mentoring process
« on: August 29, 2013, 11:40:45 am »
Your student mentor is meant to be your advocate and assist you, they are not there to give you a hard time or "bug" you.

The mentor can help you if you have a problem and don't know who to reach out to, they can provide insight into the program and they can provide support and tips to succeed in your courses.

All student mentors are Full Time Faculty members dedicated to seeing you succeed in the program.

Mentors are a resource and they want to hear from you.  While they cannot influence grades or solve problems within the class, they will help you reach out to instructors and will support you as you work through any issues you are having.

Reach out to your mentor and let them help you along the way!
