Greetings AutoCAD Users!
Do you need some good strategies for dimensioning your drawings faster and more accurately? Would you like to gain more confidence with the dimensioning process and tools?

This one hour workshop and tips we will go over can save you many hours of drafting time, organize your AutoCAD work, reduce revisions and keep your drawings accurate the first time!

This will be an informal session, open for all ID, RP and K&B students who have already taken the ID221 Intro to AutoCAD course.

The workshop will cover the following topics:
1. ?String Theory? - Dimensioning strategies and approach:
?Working Large to Small, Pinning in it all!?
2. Dimension style settings refresher, Dimension Tool Bar/commonly used tools
3. Clarity and the use of cut lines ? DDEDIT, STRETCH and position adjustments
4. Precision and alignment ? using OSNAPS and GRIPS, Center to Center? Or Face to Face?
5. Checking for accuracy (LIST, Properties Palette, DIST, and LAYERWALK)
