What is the Hometown Challenge?
A month-long nation-wide humanitarian effort in October of each year
A chance to make a difference in your own community
A chance to add important community service work to your resume (very important to potential employers)
Where Can I Volunteer?

Search a variety of volunteer opportunities in your area by visiting the following Web site: Volunteer Match - http://www.volunteermatch.org/

You can volunteer for anything you like:

Habitat for Humanity
Local Food Bank
Dress for Success
Local community centers
Local Homeless Shelters or Soup Kitchens
Any local community service effort
Opportunities to work with Faculty and or other Students

Some of the faculty have secured locations to work in the areas in which they live
If you are interested in working on one of these projects connect with the faculty member by responding to the appropriate thread.
If there is not already a thread for your city, you have a volunteer effort and you want to connect with others in your area, let one of our team know and we will be happy to work with you on this.

Faculty Advisors are available any time for your questions or you can post them here.

Faculty Advisors are:

Donna Pennella: dpennella@aii.edu
Rachelle Starr:   rstarr@aii.edu
