HOMETOWN CHALLENGE - OCTOBER 2013 - BEGINS!

(SEE FLYER ATTACHED FOR FULL DETAILS)

It is that time again for our month-long, nation-wide humanitarian effort that occurs every October. Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online Division students and faculty members volunteer in their hometown communities, at their convenience during the month of October. In past years, the Hometown
Challenge has had over 300 student participants and we hope that you will be one of the student participants this year.

So now you ask, where can I volunteer?  Please see the flyer for additional opportunities, but those listed below are one where students can meet up with faculty on their volunteer event:

1) A fun-filled volunteer opportunity available for HOUSTON AREA STUDENTS October 3-6 (this coming Thursday Saturday) at the annual Houston Greek Festival at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral and volunteering for one shift will allow them free admittance to the festival all weekend with their badge.

2) GREENVILLE, NC AREA STUDENTS can work at Let There Be Mom on Oct 24 from 10-2.

Come back and see what other volunteer events have been posted for you to attend, they might be in your area!!
