Journals- Important to any Web Designer!
« on: June 20, 2016, 07:42:27 am »
You want to get in the habit to keep a journal for all of your portfolio pieces! Trust me, if you created the piece a couple of years ago, you will not remember exactly what you did to create that piece. This is where journaling comes into play! As you work with your assignments in other classes, make sure to write down  information about the piece, such as its purpose, the software and technology used, the date of creation, contributors, and copyright, if artwork is used beyond your own.   This will be important information that you might need to include in your portfolio or to provide to a client!

I use OneNote from Microsoft to create my summaries. It comes with Office 365, and is easy to use. If you need help learning OneNote, check out the lynda.com tutorials that you have access to as a student. Just make sure to be logged into the campus common.
